Self-Defined Musician is about the understanding that every musician is on their own path. Given that it is impossible for anyone else to fully appreciate the path of another, it is up to each musician to self-define their path.

I am a self-defined musician.
I am walking my own path.
I seek to understand myself.
I work to accept myself for who I am.
I have uncompromising dreams.
I know that music is natural for all human beings.
I am afraid. I am uncertain. I am a failure.
And I walk on.
Because I make the rules.

This is not about "relativism" or "diversity". Rather, it is about the freedom that comes from taking the time to really decide what it is that you want to be about.

It is about mindfulness.

If you are a pianist who struggle with technique, you really should consider how mindfulness can help you.
